The Best Yacht Routes in Dubai: Marina, Palm & Beyond

One of the joys of a private charter is that the route is yours to shape. From our base at Dubai Harbour you can reach the city’s most iconic landmarks within minutes. Here are the routes our captains recommend most, and who each one is best for.

Dubai Marina & JBR skyline

The classic first cruise. Glide past the wall of glittering towers at Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Beach Residence, with Ain Dubai — the world’s tallest observation wheel — rising over Bluewaters Island. It is the most photogenic stretch of coastline in the city and the perfect warm-up before heading further out.

Palm Jumeirah & Atlantis

Cruise around the fronds of the Palm and drop anchor within sight of the Atlantis resort, one of the most photographed landmarks in the UAE. The water here is calm and shallow enough for a comfortable swim stop — a highlight of almost every charter.

Burj Al Arab & Jumeirah coast

Head south toward the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab, standing on its own island off the Jumeirah coast. Seeing this landmark from the water — rather than fighting for a photo from the beach — is one of the quiet luxuries of a private yacht.

Which route should you pick?

Short on time? A two-hour cruise comfortably covers the Marina and Palm. With three hours or more you can add the Burj Al Arab and a longer swim stop. Our captain will tailor the itinerary to your group on the day.

The full coastline

On a longer half-day charter you can link all of these together into one continuous cruise — Marina, Ain Dubai, Palm Jumeirah, Atlantis and the Burj Al Arab — with time to swim, relax and enjoy lunch on board. It is the definitive way to see Dubai from the sea.

Can I choose my own route?

Yes. Tell the captain what you would most like to see and the itinerary is built around your group, weather and cruise length.

How long does it take to reach the Palm?

From Dubai Harbour, Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis are typically reached within 20–30 minutes of cruising.
